Twitch streamer Amouranth has notched up another ban from the platform - for a pretty awkward reason.

The latest ban came following an incident during a live stream for the hugely popular content creator which saw her break the platforms community guidelines.

Amouranth is no stranger to having her account blocked on Twitch, and according to streamerbans.com, this is the eighth time it's happened.

The creator frequently streams on Twitch, having an enormous following of some 6.3 million followers, placing her among the largest accounts on Twitch.

Amouranth also often streams content which, let's say, can sometimes push the boundaries of the community guidelines a little.

The announcement came via streamerbans.com, which tracks bans on accounts, as its name suggests.

A tweet from the account on January 27 read: "Twitch Partner "AMOURANTH" has been banned!"

The streamer frequently posts so-called 'hot tub content', which is sexually suggestive, but not explicit.

Amouranth herself has previously said that being banned can be used as a 'great marketing tactic'.

Nonetheless, the streamer has always maintained that none of her bans have been on purpose, and were down to honest mistakes.

She's now said that was the case with her latest ban.

Amouranth was briefly banned from Twitch.

Amouranth retweeted the post about her ban, acknowledging there had been a wardrobe malfunction during a stream.

She wrote: “Man that slip was crazy. My bad.”

Among the community guidelines on Twitch are ones around nudity, which appears to be what Amouranth ran afoul of.

This was the eighth time that she has been banned from Twitch since 2019.

It didn't take long for the ban to be lifted from her account, with streamerbans.com tweeting: "Twitch Partner AMOURANTH has been unbanned after 1 day, 3 minutes and 15 seconds!"

People took to social media to share their thoughts on Amouranth being banned from Twitch.

One wrote: "If Twitch bans her, their audience will probably shrink by 25 percent."

Another posted: "She'll be back in a few hours and everything will go back to normal. Keep in mind Amouranth is partner with Twitch."

A third joked: "'AMOURANTH IS ON VACATION!' Rest up queen."

Fans have previously been left stunned by just how much money Amouranth makes from her online platforms.

The account has since been restored.

She revealed: "I was making $500-600k a month on OF before hot tubs were a thing, and probably an aggregate 750k/month including other sources by 2020."

The social media star went on: "Saving the a majority of the windfall, investing it, & grinding relentlessly for 12 hours a day for 6+ years consecutively is why I’m wealthy."

One person replied: "I've seen your Twitch numbers. Utterly insane.

"You streamed 2 and a half years in a 5 year period. 12 hours a day for 5 years straight(averaged) Mad lass! Mad respect.

"I tried streaming a little and holy s**t, 8 hours 5 times a week was not easy."
