An OnlyFans model was arrested after content from her account was reposted online.
While the platform has seen an explosion in popularity some countries have spoken out against it - even to the point of banning it entirely.
Among the countries which are restricting access to the platform, which is often widely used to publish adult material, is Turkey.

Turkish president Recep Erdoğan's socially conservative government has responded to calls from campaign groups to crack down on the platform and have blocked access to it in the country.
Now, Turkish model Gizem Bagdacicek was taken into police custody after her content was reposted on a different social media platform.
According to The Daily Star, Bagdacicek, 25, reportedly told police that she did not post the material on the other platform herself.
She claimed that it was one of her 160 subscribers on OnlyFans who might have reposted it without her permission.
According to reports, the model told police: "I am 'avocadogreenii1' on Twitter. I own the account named user. I occasionally share posts about my daily life on this account. Sometimes these posts include images of me in underwear and doing sports.

"I opened an account on a social media platform about six months ago. This platform is where users become paid members using their credentials and follow their account holders by paying a fee."
She continued: "This platform does not accept users under the age of 18. I shared my pornographic images with approximately 160 followers on this platform.
"The nude and pornographic images you have shown me belong to me. "However, I shared these images with only 160 of my followers.
"This platform on which I share does not allow images to be saved or even screenshots to be taken. These images were taken with another phone by people I do not know and leaked to social media with fake accounts."

Bagdacicek added that she now plans to file a criminal complaint through her lawyer about the posting of the images without her consent.
According to local media, the 25-year-old was released from custody but there has not been any update as to whether the case against her has been dropped by police.

As well as Turkey, OnlyFans has also blocked in Dubai and Russia among others.

And in India, it is also illegal to post content as a creator - though the site is accessible.
