A woman has revealed why you should always double check who you're sending your trash talking texts to, after her boss accidentally sent her messages criticising her work ethic.

TikToker @conniewaters31 had contacted her boss after feeling unwell to ask if she should take a second Covid-19 test before coming into the office.

'I woke up this morning with literally no voice and my throat is on fire and my head is KILLING me,' she wrote.

Her boss initially replied asking Waters to 'bring the negative result' with her into work the next day, but Waters was in for a surprise when minutes later she received another text from her boss that clearly wasn't intended for her.

'For f***s sake!! Already trying to get off work. Her fb pics over the weekend didn’t look like she was sick,' read the sh*t-talking text intended for her boss's husband, along with a screenshot of the text sent by Waters.

Waters went on to reveal that she went on to test positive for Covid-19 the next day, and explained that the reason she'd been off work recently was because she had suffered a miscarriage.

Incredibly, it turns out that Waters is a medical assistant working in a doctor's office, making her boss's lack of understanding over Waters' understandable caution about going to work with Covid-19 symptoms even more baffling.

Waters' experience has shocked her followers, with one person commenting 'that sounds like a call to HR'.

'How dare you have fun on the weekends and after work,' another joked, with a third person writing, 'That’s how getting sick works, you’re fine one day and the next day you don’t feel well. It’s not rocket science.'

In a follow-up video Waters confirmed that she instantly quit her job after receiving the text, revealing an equally brutal exchange of messages between her and her boss.

'Good luck finding somebody else to fill that position because I’ll be there tomorrow to get my things and that’s it,' she wrote, to which her boss replied by apologising while doubling down on her complaint that she had missed several days of work.

'I have because I got married I had a honeymoon and I had a MISCARRIAGE and I’ve been sick,' Waters shot back, before rejecting her boss's request for a phone call, telling her, 'Why? I have nothing left to say.'
