Conservative commentator Tucker Carlson unloaded a series of shocking homophobic slurs in a heated moment during a discussion about freedom of speech with Piers Morgan this week.
Carlson, the former Fox News host traveled to London for the latest instalment of 'The Tucker Carlson Show', where he argues the UK is a country that has been in political and cultural decline since the end of World War Two.
In a monologue before his interview with Piers Morgan on Thursday, November 28, Carlson contrasted the British Empire at the height of its power, when it controlled a quarter of the Earth's landmass, with what he described now as a 'sad, soggy, welfare state'.

He then began to argue that people in the UK are being arrested for exercising their freedom of speech, highlighting a case where a woman was arrested for standing in silent protest outside of an abortion clinic, which had an anti-protest buffer zone as many do in the US.

He described this as 'arresting people for praying,' laying the ground for much of his heated debate with Piers Morgan later on in the video, when he says the homophobic F slur six times inside of a minute.
During the largely convivial discussion between the two shock jocks, with Carlson slamming the current 'authoritarian' state of the UK and Morgan arguing back that it was not as bad as described, he kept returning to the theme of free speech.

While sitting in a UK studio and without facing arrest by the Metropolitan Police, conspiracy-minded Carlson argued that there is a 'Global Homo' threat, which he described as 'fascism wrapped in the human rights campaign rainbow logo'.
In his tirade against anti-hate speech laws, he said: "This is the authoritarianism of the present and the future, it's the feline passive aggressive female version that doesn't tell you what it is, they don't march into your town with jackboots and put a rifle against your face."
While Morgan, who said he still spends half of each year in the UK, did not entirely disagree, their discussion became uncomfortable when Carlson tried to provoke him, asking: "Would you say the word 'f*ggot' on camera?"
Barely missing a beat, Morgan simply says 'No'. Carlson then alleges that he won't say it as he thinks he will be arrested, but his guest remained cool-headed and said he did not want to 'needlessly smear or snear' people, before asking if the host would use the slur.

"F*ggot? I just did. F*ggot, f*ggot, f*ggot," Carlson said in the shocking moment, but Morgan refused to rise to it.
"I'm allowed to, I just choose not to," he said in response to Carlson's prodding.

A short while later, after professing that he holds no ill will against gay people but has no problem saying the slur, ironically, Carlson chooses to self-censor his freedom of speech.

"The only people you ever hear use the N word are Black, period," Carlson says, deciding to not use the vile racist slur.
