Disneyland guests horrified as man strips off naked on ride

Of all the things you would expect to see on a ride on Disneyland, a streaker is not one of them.

Most guests head to the place where dreams come true to find happiness, though it seems in this case a few unfortunate guests instead found, well, a naked guy.

The 'It's a Small World' ride at Disneyland was shut for around an hour after a visitor to the park stripped off and streaked around the ride, horrifying guests.

Inspectors also had to go over the ride to ensure it was safe, and it reopened at around 3pm local time.

No visitors were harmed during the incident, Deadline reports.

Video footage of the incident went viral online, with the clip showing the streaker walking around the ride topless.

Further footage shows him sitting down and touching the animatronics on the ride.

A person can be heard saying 'please stop' and to 'sit down' to the streaker as he continues on.

At one point, the man sits down in a fountain prop in a part of the ride which is set in India, then continues climbing over the props before disappearing out of sight.

Another person can be heard worrying that he is going to cause damage to the props in the ride.

According to the person who shared the video online, the Disney cast members 'did an excellent job' of dealing with the situation 'to the best of their abilities', Fox 11 reports.

Many people took to social media to post about the incident as it unfolded.

One visitor was extremely shocked by the encounter, writing: "I AM ON SMALL WORLD AND THERE WAS A STREAKER, I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING."

Someone else wrote: "Disneyland’s “It’s a small world” apparently had a guest take off his clothes and walk through the attraction."

The streaker climbed on the props.

A third posted: "Streaker on it’s a small world in Disneyland stripped in the ride and began walking around. He has been escorted naked from the park."

The nude guest was ultimately detained by park staff before later being booked by the Anaheim Police Department and escorted from the park premises.

Speaking to Fox 11, Anaheim Police's Sergeant Jon McClintock said that the man was arrested for indecent exposure and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

He also added that the suspect had been taken to hospital as a precaution.
