The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has confirmed the death of adult film star Kylie Page at just 28 years old.

Kylie, who entered the adult entertainment scene in 2016, had amassed almost 400,000 followers on Instagram, where she regularly shared selfies and updates on top of her time spent working with major studios.

Throughout her time in the industry, the 28-year-old had collaborated with Vixen Media Group labels as well as Brazzers, the adult film producers headquartered in Canada.

Her death has been confirmed by the LA medical examiner, however, authorities have not yet shared an official cause of death.

Kylie's appearance at a public event just days prior to her passing has left fans even more blindsided by the news, and her death is now under investigation.

Instagram users who followed Kylie have shared their tributes in the wake of her death, with one writing: "I just met you recently and you were such a sweet person with a warm heart. RIP."

Another added: "You were such a sweetheart, I was looking forward to seeing you here in Florida. Forever in our hearts. Love you sweet girl."

The tributes on Instagram come as Brazzers issued a statement on the death of Kylie, saying the team was 'deeply saddened' to have heard of her death.

The company remembered Kylie with kind words, saying: "Kylie will be remembered for her laughter, kindness and bringing light wherever she went.

"We extend our heartfelt condolences to Kylie’s family, friends, and fans during this difficult time.”

Joining the tributes was Kylie's friend and fellow performer Leah Gotti, who spoke to AVN (Adult Video News) about what Kylie was like as a person.

She said: "I just think, overall, she was a [happily] infectious person. She was really light and bright and she just loved to smile, laugh, and really valued living life to the fullest and being free as much as possible."

An online adult industry support network called Pineapple Support also shared its condolences on the passing of Kylie, and urged anyone who may have been impacted by her loss to reach out for support.

It said: "We are heartbroken by the passing of Kylie Page, a bright light in our industry and a beautiful soul, remembered for her kindness, strength and authenticity.

"If you have been affected by this tragic news, please reach out. You are loved. We are listening. You are not alone."

A GoFundMe page has been set up for funeral expenses and to 'bring home' Kylie from California to the Midwest. You can donate here.
