A 21-year-old TikToker has shared her experience of living in an old people's home.

According to the content creator, she was offered the option to rent out an apartment in a retirement home, as there wasn't any viable housing options in her town.

And, honestly, it looks like a pretty good deal if you ask us, there's even fresh baked goods and puzzles.

@playboylacroix shared her unique living situation to TikTok with the video captioned 'yes, i am 21 and signed a lease in a senior apartment complex'.

In the video she gives a brief tour of the complex, noting the 'things that make sense when you live in an old folks home'.

The things include 'ladies doing puzzles' and 'the decor' which gives us the same vibes as the hotel from The Shining, but it's probably the clashing patterns on the floor.

Don't let the aesthetics put you off though, because according to the TikToker there's also 'constant fresh baked goods in the atrium'.

And, for anyone wondering, an atrium is an open-roofed entrance hall. Our house doesn't even have an atrium, or fresh baked goods for that matter, so we'd say @playboylacroix is winning this one.

Also, as you can imagine in an old people's home, the atmosphere is decidedly wholesome and friendly with 'people casually leaving the doors to their apartment open'.

If that wasn't enough to convince you to move, the content creator even gets 'leftover food from meals on wheels left at my door'.

What more could you want?

People were quick to comment on the video, with one user writing: 'This looks like it would either be heaven or hell. No in between & definitely depends on if they’re cool old people or not.'

The TikToker responded and said that 'it's really cool tbh', they also addressed questions from people asking 'how were you allowed I'm always told I'm too young most are 55 or older.'

To which the content creator posted another video saying that due to the lack of rentals in her town, she was allowed to stay at the home.

She noted that there are even another three or four people around her age staying there, but she affirmed that '90 percent are still old folks'.

The TikToker then gave tour of her apartment too and the open plan layout makes London rentals look like a shoe box.

While she notes that the apartment 'looks a little old fashioned and outdated' she likes it and 'played it up' by adding mid-century and 70s style pieces.

Most of her decor comes from state sales or goodwill and her bedroom is really spacious with a great view.
