An Australian daddy-daughter duo seemed willing to do anything to win a cash lump sum, including making out with one another live on a radio show.

Back in 2020, Aussie breakfast hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie 'O' Henderson ran a competition on their titular KIIS 106.5 show called ‘Boyfriend or Daddy’.

The controversial game involved a female special guest being invited into the studio with a male counterpart.

The idea was that the famous broadcasters would have to determine whether the pair were father and daughter, or girlfriend and boyfriend.

If they guessed incorrectly, the guests would walk away with a solid amount of cash, AU $1,000 (US $661) to be exact.

On one episode, then 26-year-old Stacey was welcomed into the radio studio with then 49-year-old Nick.

The pair, who claimed to be lovers, kissed each other on the lips on the way into the interview and were soon subjected to a round of questioning, as per the Standard.

“I have a thing for older guys,” Stacey explained as she took her seat. “My dad told me to go find a nice Greek boy, ‘cause I’m a little bit Greek, so I did.

"They weren’t too impressed at the beginning, but he’s come around. They seem to go fishing and stuff together now.”

Determined to catch the pair out, Henderson put a series of uncomfortable questions to Stacey and Nick, including asking about their bedtime habits.

“With your boyfriend, what is your favourite sexual position in the bedroom?” she said.

If the personality was hoping the hopeful pair would buckle under the uncomfortable question, she was mistaken.

Stacey ploughed ahead and told listeners that she liked to ‘go on top’, explaining: "I’m a little bit smaller than him so I kind of don’t like to be smothered, so being on top is definitely the way to go with us.”

Nick was then asked if his so-called girlfriend enjoyed oral sex, to which he replied: “It took a while to get me to come around that way, both giving and receiving.”

Still having no clue whether Stacey and Nick were telling the truth, Henderson decided to play her trump card.

“There’s only one way to decide this. Would you guys be willing to give each other just a little kiss on the lips? This is your boyfriend or your dad? So feel free to kiss as much as you want,” the radio star said.

Instead of exchanging a chaste kiss, the father-daughter pair launched into a fully-blown make-out session, which left host Sandilands gobsmacked.

“It has to be a boyfriend,” he exclaimed.

"It can't be the father, no one kisses their father like that... unless you live in the mountains and have no neighbours.”

Alas, they were proven wrong when Stacey admitted Nick was not her beau but actually her own flesh and blood father.

“The things we do for money – this is actually my father!" Stacey revealed.

She added: "My boyfriend’s going to be mortified".

Listeners were allegedly 'disgusted' by the faux romance, with one writing: "This is so, so wrong on so many levels," as per The Mirror.

"Nope no amount of money is worth tarnishing the pure innocent love between father and daughter in my eyes," a second added. "This can never be undone."

The relations ended up taking home the AU $1,000, but at what cost?
