Prince Andrew And Ghislaine Maxwell May Have Dated, Friend Says

Ghislaine Maxwell and Prince Andrew are said to have had an ‘easy warmth’ together and could have dated ‘in the past’, according to a friend.
Euan Rellie met Maxwell during university and was a guest at the dinner parties she hosted with Jeffery Epstein.
As part of the upcoming ITV documentary Ghislaine, Prince Andrew and the Paedophile, Rellie, who is an investment banker, recalled being invited to Epstein’s New York home, with Maxwell admitting the evening was ‘for my friend Prince Andrew’, as per the Daily Mail.

A former palace guard also speculated about the incident, wondering whether Maxwell and Andrew had been ‘intimate’, due to how frequently she visited the palace.
The documentary – set to air tomorrow, January 18 at 9.00pm – shows the sources speculating about the nature of the pair’s relationship in an interview with Ranvir Singh.
Speaking in the documentary, Rellie said that Maxwell ‘described Andrew as being her friend, not Jeffery’s’.

He went on to say:
I got the sense that Prince Andrew and Ghislaine had probably been girlfriend and boyfriend in the past. They had an easy warmth around each other.
In addition to this, a former officer who worked for Andrew claimed he would ‘shout and scream’ if his teddy bear collection was dishevelled by maids.
The officer was part of the Royal Protection Squad and reportedly had access to Andrew’s private residence.

He said that Andrew had 50 or 60 toys alongside a laminated picture so that each could be put back in its original position.
The officer said:
It had about 50 or 60 stuffed toys positioned on the bed and basically, there was a card the inspector showed us in a drawer and it was a picture of these bears all in situ. The reason for the laminated picture was if those bears weren’t put back in the right order by the maids, he would shout and scream.
Apparently, writer Elizabeth Day was also shown the collection in 2019. She said: ‘I was told to wait in a corridor where my only other companion was an oversized teddy bear squashed into a seat.’
The claims come as the sentencing date for Maxwell’s case was announced as June 28, despite the controversy surrounding the jurors in her case.
Two jurors are said to have spoken about their own experience of sexual assault during deliberations, raising speculation over a retrial.
