Nun Pulls Girls Apart Kissing During Shoot In Naples

Two actresses filming a TV show in the streets of Naples were pulled apart by a nun

Two actresses filming a TV show in the streets of Naples were pulled apart by a nun who accused them of ‘devilry’.

Serena de Ferrari and Kyshan Wilson locked lips while filming the Italian show, Mare Fuori, when a nun dressed in an all-white habit rushed over and attempted to separate the women.

Ferrari and Wilson, both clearly shocked, tried to laugh off the situation while the nun scolded them.

According to Vanity Fair Italy, the nun told the women off and repeated ‘he is the devil’, unaware that she was being filmed. Watch the footage below:

Rolling Stone Italy also reported on the incident, writing: “During a photoshoot in the Spanish Quarters of Naples, a screaming nun separated two models who were kissing.

“[She said:] ‘What are you doing? It is the devil’. The video, shot by the makeup artist, has clearly gone viral.

“The nun left after the operators' requests, and both the girls and those present laughed, even though there is little to laugh about.”

The footage has also been shared on Reddit, prompting many social media users to express their anger.

Beneath the clip, one person wrote: “Not cool at all,” while another added: “Absolutely abominable.”

“Imagine seeing two people kissing and getting mad?” wrote a third person, with a fourth adding: “I would have smacked her hands off of me.”

Noting the nun’s older age, a fifth added: “Imagine a time where there won’t be anymore of that generation.”

UNILAD has approached Ferrari and Wilson for comment.

While some catholics feel Pope Francis has created a more open environment for the church in recent years - in 2013 he famously said ‘who am I to judge gay people?’ - it still ruled that it doesn’t have the ‘power’ to bless same-sex unions last year.

The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (CDF) said it is ‘impossible’ for god to ‘bless sin’, noting that the marriage between man and woman is a sacrament and similar blessings can’t be extended to same-sex couples.

Pope Francis approved the CDF’s response, saying at the time that it was ‘not intended to be a form of unjust discrimination, but rather a reminder of the truth of the liturgical rite’.

The question posed to the CDF was: "Does the Church have the power to give the blessing to unions of persons of the same sex?".

The CDF replied: "Negative," according to the BBC.
