Ex-employee sues Taco Bell after 'witnessing orgy' at outrageous Christmas party

The lawsuit claims that she was forced to quit her job after reporting the alleged act

In what has to be one of the most bizarre work Christmas party incidents, a former Taco Bell employee is suing the fast-food restaurant after allegedly walking in on a group sex act.

Work Christmas parties can often get wild but one ex-Taco-Bell employee claims she was left 'shocked and disgusted' after witnessing just how close her co-workers are, according to a lawsuit.

The worker, Alana Bechiom, filed a lawsuit against the restaurant chain in Los Angeles County superior court on 15 November.

The lawsuit alleged she was invited to the Christmas party on December 18, 2022, which she was told was going to be a potluck-style buffet at the California Taco Bell she worked at.

Hoping to delight her coworkers with her bowl of guacamole, she came to the store but quickly realized something wasn’t right, according to the lawsuit.

Bechiom alleged the windows were covered in wrapping paper and the lobby’s surveillance cameras had also been covered. She went on to claim that her supervisor had been providing alcohol to employees, though she stated some had been 'overserved'.

During the party, Bechiom stepped outside to mingle with other employees and when she returned back inside, she claimed she found a co-worker ‘having sex with his wife in front of everyone at the party,’.

She said while this was happening, the co-worker's wife was kissing two women, her manager and another colleague.

She then left the party feeling 'disgusted and outraged', according to the suit.

The former employee added that after running out she returned to fetch her guacamole bowl only to find that one of the co-workers engaged in the orgy were vomiting in her bowl.

After leaving the party, Bechiom said she took the incident up with HR. Her manager and the other employees involved in the alleged sex act were subsequently fired.

The lawsuit alleges that Bechiom then received threats from associates of her fired colleagues, claiming her car window was broken and that she was made to feel intimidated.

Taco Bell’s public relations office provided a statement to the Guardian, saying: “While we don’t own or manage this location, the franchisee who owns and operates this restaurant has shared that they take these claims very seriously.”

According to the lawsuit, rather than deal with those who had allegedly been intimidating Bechiom, the fast food chain offered to relocate her to a different store.

This resulted in the disgruntled employee quitting and her lawsuit has demanded damages for her workplace environment allegedly turning hostile towards her.

UNILAD has contacted Taco Bell for further comment.
