A man was arrested three times in the space of only 16 hours.
Could it have been an attempt at a world record? Who knows. But it's certainly not one that most people would grow up dreaming to break.
On Sunday, February 13, Californian man, 47-year-old James Langdon was arrested at around 3am, at 9.30am and later that same day at 7pm, reaching a grand total of three times in just one day.
Langdon's first arrest occurred when he ran over the road next to a 'Don't Walk' sign, Fox 11 reported.

Officers tried to apprehend him for jaywalking, however he decided to run away. When the officers caught up, Langdon was arrested and given a court date.
He requested medical attention and so was transferred to hospital, before later being released.
At 9.30am, later that same morning, Langdon was caught with a screwdriver attempting to get into the building of a business located on the 1400 block of E. Chevy Chase Drive.

An employee had caught him during the act and notified Glendale police. Langdon was subsequently arrested again.
However, because of the emergency 'Zero-Dollar' bail order that has been put in place by LA County, he was released after around three hours despite being booked for trespassing, allthough he did receive another court date.
The third and final time Langdon managed to get himself arrested that day was close to 7pm.

A burglary was reported to Glendale police after residents found their door open upon returning home to their apartment on the 600 block of Balboa Avenue.
They also heard a man's voice shouting from within the property, and found that objects had been moved about.
When the police attended the scene, Langdon reportedly barricaded himself inside the apartment's bedroom.
However, he eventually came out after Burbank Police K-9 units were brought in alongside negotiators.
The last crime of Langdon's busy 16-hour spree reportedly saw a total of around $6,000 of damages done to the residents' home and building, according to officers' further investigations.

He has since been remanded in custody, after he was booked for burglary and felony vandalism. His bail is currently set at $150,000.
Langdon's three arrests are one thing, but another man from Mississippi managed to escape prison three times in just 20 years. In his latest getaway, he was missing for nearly four days.
