Taylor Swift has seemingly taken aim at Kanye West with a title change in her alleged Kim Kardashian diss track.

When Swift released her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, earlier this year, fans went wild.

While enjoying the new music from the 'Shake It Off' singer, fans went into overdrive in search of any hidden meanings.

Well, Swifties quickly claimed the singer had produced a 'Kim Kardashian diss track' with 'thanK you aIMee'.

The track focuses on a seemingly fictional story of a feud that Swift had with a woman called Aimee from her hometown.

Aimee was seen as the school bully back in the day, but later became celebrated.

"All that time you were throwin' punches, I was buildin' somethin," Swift says in the chorus of the track.

With how the song was capitalized, fans immediately noticed a Kim link as the capital letters in the song title spelled out her name.

However, Swift has since changed up the capitalization in a new live version of the song to signify there is someone new to diss.

While the track name sounds the same when said aloud, the song is now written 'thank You aimEe'.

You may notice the 'Y' and 'E' is capitalized with the update, spelling YE, the name of Kim's ex Kanye West.

So why could Swift be targeting West?

Well, an apparent feud between the pair began way back in 2009 when West didn't think Swift deserved the Best Female Video award at the VMAs.

Interrupting the acceptance speech, West said to the crowd: "I’m really happy for you, I’ll let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time."

The feud appeared to be over until West released the track 'Famous' in 2016.

In the controversial song, West seemingly says of Swift: "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that b*tch famous."

Ye also appeared to take a jab at Swift in his recent album Vultures 2, where he raps in 'Lifestyle (Demo): "I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce."

UNILAD has reached out to Swift's and West's representatives for comment.

Following the initial release of the song and the initial capitalization of the name, many fans took to the website Genius to theorise its meaning.

"Kim Kardashian’s attempt to ruin Taylor’s career during the phone scandal backfired on her and boosted Taylor to an even higher level of fame," one fan said.
