The ongoing feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake has taken a hilarious turn as it appears Lamar's diss track lyrics contain an awkward mistake.

Lamar recently dropped 'Euphoria' aimed at Drake, but the song has left fans in stitches as they believe the rapper appears to have gotten two public figures confused.

On the track, Lamar raps: "Am I battlin' ghosts or AI? N**** feelin' like Joel Osteen/Funny, he was in a film called A.I. /And my sixth sense tellin' me to off him."

However, while he meant to refer to former child star Haley Joel Osment, who starred in the 1999 film The Sixth Sense and 2001's A.I. Artificial Intelligence, he instead appears to have confused him with a US religious pastor called Joel Osteen.

Osteen, who is a pastor at Houston's Lakewood Church, hit headlines in 2017 for allegedly keeping the doors of his church closed while Hurricane Harvey was in full force.

Fans have been quick to notice the alleged fail, as one person wrote on X: "The funniest explanation, and therefore the one I hope is true, is that Kendrick Lamar genuinely thinks Haley Joel Osment and Joel Osteen are the same person. Like, the kid from the Sixth Sense grew up to be a megapastor. Please let me live in that world."

Another added: "I don’t know anything about the beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar but Kendrick just dropped a 6-min diss track & mixed up prosperity gospel preacher Joel Osteen with Haley Joel Osment from The Sixth Sense."

A third shared: "We can chill, Haley Joel Osment is fine, he was just confused for Joel Osteen in Kendrick Lamar’s new diss track. Which is called Euphoria and has no relation to the 2019 show. Today is a weird day."

Someone else said: "I did NOT have Kendrick Lamar mistaking Hayley Joel Osment for Joel Osteen on my 2024 Bingo card."

However one fan pointed out that the alleged confusion was still a major dig at Drake as they claimed: "The Joel hale Osteen line is actually crazy, saying he's seeing ghosts he's rapping against like Haley Joel Osteen from the 6th sense but also Joel Osteen is a [mega] church pastor that has a cult following but it just pretending to be a preacher to make millions from his following.

"Saying Drake is a fake rapper with a cult following and all his raps are ghost written. That one is one of the best bars I've ever heard."
