A Billie Eilish fan has been hit with criticism after shouting an obscene comment towards the singer in New York.

Eilish, 22, is currently entertaining crowds across the US with her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour, which is next set to stop in Atlanta, Georgia.

Her upcoming appearances come after the 'Bad Guy' singer put on three gigs at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York, where she was joined by hundreds of thousands of fans as well as her support act, Nat and Alex Wolff.

It was while Eilish was on stage at Madison Square Garden that she found herself being heckled by a male fan who took their opportunity to try and get Eilish's attention during a lull in the music.

His comment was caught and shared online by a fellow concertgoer, whose mom happened to be recording when he called out.

In the clip, filmed from up in the stands at the stadium, Eilish can be seen standing in a spotlight on stage as fans cheer and whoop.

Suddenly, as the stadium is hit with a lull, one fan can be heard shouting above the rest.

The obscene comment saw the fan ask for Eilish to perform oral sex on him, as he shouted: "Billie give me a b***job."

The comment prompted gasps of shock from the crowd, with the people behind the camera heard exclaiming: "Oh my God."

A caption over the video read: "To the person who yelled that at my show, I hope both sides of your pillow is hot."

Alongside the post, the TikToker added: "Good thing my mom caught this on camera cus I wasn't recording this part, but yeah this guy p****d me off."

The heckler received more backlash in the comments section of the video, where one person wrote: "Bro has no respect."

Another added: "OH MY GOSH that’s so sad what," as a third questioned: "Why did he get tickets and I didn’t."

Eilish previously expressed her excitement to perform at Madison Square Garden as she shared a picture of the stadium on Instagram, writing: "MADISON SQUARE GARDEN? THREE NIGHTS? SOLD OUT? I’LL SEE U SOOOOOOON."

The trio of gigs marked the most Eilish has ever played at the venue in a single headlining tour, and she made the most of the opportunity by entertaining crowds with upbeat hits like 'Therefore I Am' as well as her much-loved ballads, like 'What Was I Made For?'
