A YouTuber turned himself into the real-life Aladdin as he created his very own ‘flying’ magic carpet.
Content creator ‘RhyzOrDie’ didn’t need a genie to help him experience a whole new world; rather, he just needed a few engineering skills.
In a video shared to his platform last month, the YouTuber showed himself gliding around Dubai on a ‘magic carpet’, explaining that while it might be ‘a little hard’ to find the Disney protagonist in the country, you would be able to find ‘Prince Ali’, in reference to the persona taken on by Aladdin.

RhyzOrDie created the incredible ‘floating’ carpet by crafting a PVC pipe frame around his electronic longboard before fixing a carpet on top of it, making it look every bit as magical as the one used by ‘Prince Ali’ and Jasmine in the Disney film.
RhyzOrDie initially impressed passersby by floating around the streets of Dubai on his creation, but he later took things to the next level by fixing the carpet to a surfboard and taking it out to sea.
The creator explained he was using an ‘eFoil board’ for the stunt, referring to a surfboard with an electric propeller.
According to WindFoilZone, the propeller is located just above the wing of the hydrofoil and allows the board to move through any water.
The site explains: ‘The eFoil rider doesn’t need to paddle for waves or pump with their legs to keep the board in motion. An eFoil is basically the world’s smallest personal, motorized watercraft.’
After overcoming some issues with the board, RhyzOrDie successfully managed to capture footage of himself seemingly flying over the waves on his magic carpet, completing the look with a ‘Prince Ali’ costume. Having pulled off the stunt, the creator commented: ‘mission accomplished’.
