Speculation and questions about Grand Theft Auto 6 have been ongoing pretty much since the release of GTA 5 all the way back in 2013, and now Manni L. Perez has only added to the conversation by deleting her Instagram account.
Over the course of her acting career Perez has appeared in titles such as Jessica Jones and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, but more recently gaming fans have been zeroing in on her for one anticipated role: that of Lucia in GTA 6.
As you're probably already aware, Rockstar has kept details of the upcoming game pretty close to the chest. So far, fans know that it's coming on May 26, 2026, and that it will take place in the state of Leonida.
We know it will feature protagonists Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval, but Rockstar hasn't confirmed exactly who's helping to bring these characters to life.

Rather than sitting and waiting to hear an announcement, this lack of confirmation has instead prompted fans to start digging for answers, and many have come to the conclusion that it's Perez who's taking on the role of Lucia, with Dylan Rourke joining her to play Jason.
As a result Perez has been flooded with comments about her playing the role - but now she appears to have deleted her Instagram account, with the link to her page returning a result which reads: "Unfortunately this page is not available."
The removal of the account was shared on the r/GTA subreddit over the weekend by user Good-Midnight-8867, who questioned whether the move could be a response to a 'NDA obligations or constant harassment from fans'.

At the time of writing (July 14), Perez's Twitter account remains active, though she hasn't posted to the platform in more than two months.
Of course, the decision to take a step back from Instagram could be entirely unrelated to GTA 6. Everyone has the right to take a break every once in a while, but unfortunately that won't stop people from wondering.
As speculation continues, one person wrote on Reddit: "She has been harassed by weirdos. Leave the poor lady alone. She's either not in the game or bound by NDA, meaning until it comes out in May she is being contacted non-stop, but can't do anything to stop it."

The removal of her account suggests Perez isn't likely to share any comments about GTA 6 any time soon, but with the release date for the game confirmed, at least there's less than a year to go until fans will have every answer they've been looking for.
