Bear with me for a second, clear your mind and picture your favourite food.

If you’re struggling, just think of the thing you eat to cheer yourself up after a rough day, or your go-to snack when you’re binge-watching your favourite Netflix show.

Got it? Brilliant. Now, what lengths would you go to to express your love for that very food if you had to? Don’t hold back, this is your moment.

Would you throw a themed party where everyone has to dress up as that particular food? Would you dedicate a Facebook status to how you can’t bear to be apart from it? Or would you buy a t-shirt covered in whatever delicious snack you’ve chosen?

All options are very doable, and all very non-permanent. Unlike the tattoo one girl decided to get to demonstrate her love for Greggs sausage rolls.

Nicole Reed, 19, decided she loved the bakery chain so much – in particular their savoury pastry snack – she got their logo permanently inked on her body. Yikes.

The 19-year-old got the tattoo while on her first girls’ holiday abroad without her parents, in the Greek party resort of Kavos.

After getting the logo inked on her, Nicole, from Manchester, put a picture of her new tattoo on Twitter on June 21.

The 19-year-old tweeted, alongside the picture:

@GreggsOfficial what’s a girl gotta do to get a free pasty.

Which, fair. I mean come on, you don’t get much more dedicated than that, do you? I can’t see many more people going to such extremes to share their love of sausage rolls.

Obviously, her tweet attracted a lot of attention – including a response from Greggs themselves, who couldn’t quite believe what they were seeing.

The bakery chain asked, ‘is this real?’ followed by a shocked emoji, before writing: ‘obviously a fan then?’

When Nicole nicknamed herself ‘Sausage roll Nicole,’ Greggs then quipped:

Should’ve got a Sausage Roll tattooed..

While some pressured the pasty chain to provide the 19-year-old with freebies, starting the hashtag #GetNicoleASausageRoll, others pointed out a major flaw in her plan.

Primarily, that sausage rolls cost approximately £1 and she could have got about 40 for the amount she probably paid for the one tattoo. Ah well.

Nicole didn’t care though, and insisted she has absolutely no regrets when responding to those who criticised her new inking.

She said:

I got the tattoo because I love Greggs. I love sausage rolls and I just wanted to show my dedication to them.

The 19-year-old then added on Twitter:

Idk why everyone’s hating on me for my Greggs tattoo. Why you all so bothered it’s not on your leg is it. Give over.

You do you, Nicole. Sausage roll, anyone?
