Saw Jigsaw actor Tobin Bell praised for response after kid asked 'do you want to play a game'

With an acting career spanning over five decades, Bell could easily have grown tired of his fans - but clearly not!

It's always exciting meeting your heroes, but it could go one of two ways.

They could either be a massive ..., I'll let you fill in the blank, or they could be a genuinely nice person - which is the bracket where Saw star Tobin Bell falls under.

But just how do we know the 82-year-old is a nice guy?

Well, our evidence comes down to how he reacted with a young child - who, may I add, does not look 18, so how's he managed to watch the films, hey, mom and dad?

Although, the Saw movie series are more gruesome than scary - not that I'm judging, I've got a toddler who I watched Rick and Morty with when he was still a baby... and he loved it.

Yes, the New Yorker, who plays Jigsaw in the films, was asked by the young fan 'do you want to play a game?' - Bell's character's catchphrase - and his response is wholesome to say the least.

It happened last year, ahead of the release of Saw X in September... and at the time, fans were certainly reaching a fever pitch of excitement.

Yes, it was Saw's 10th film in the series, The first was released in 2004, meaning they've been coming out pretty much every two years since then. Fair play to all involved.

If you're thinking of a horror film, you'll probably think of either the Halloween series, the Nightmare on Elm Street series, or the Saw series - I'd argue all three are synonymous with the genre, and make up days of hair-tingling scares.

Anyway, back to it. Jigsaw is the terrifying serial killer you want to be getting nowhere near to, but thankfully Bell - whose acting career has spanned over five decades - is nothing like that in real life.

In a video shared on YouTube, a young kid can be seen approaching the actor at a meet-and-greet event.

As he gets to the desk, the kid says: "I have a question."

To which Bell says: "Yeah, fire away. I have a question too."

Going straight in with his character's catchphrase, he asks: "Do you want to play a game?"

Bell then replies: "I do want to play a game. But let's start with a pound, ok?"

The pair then fist bump one another.

"Ok, now, that's the start of the game, now, give me your hand," Bell goes on, with the pair shaking hands.

Since the clip was shared on social media, it's been viewed thousands of times.

And people have been flocking to the comments section to heap praise Bell for the way he interacted with the young fan.

One user said: "Tobin is such a nice guy. Absolutely love actors who are just flat out nothing like the characters they play."

Another commented: "I'm amazed he wasn't like 'Omg kid you watch my Saw movies!?' Lmao he's a nice guy though."
