If you’re looking for a new film to watch, then look no further.

It’s got tension, it’s got seduction, it’s got…Martin Freeman.

That’s me sold!

The new trailer for Miller’s Girl, has everyone hooked after it shows a certain Wednesday actress seducing The Hobbit star.

Jenna Ortega and Freeman star in this naughty flick about a teacher and creative writing student who crosses the line.

Offering her special treatment, Freeman’s character entangles the pair in a situation that can’t be escaped from.

The film is directed and written by the talented Jade Halley Bartlett and will reach theatres on January 26th 2024.

But it’s not just Ortega and Freeman that are the starts of the movie, as actors such as Dagmara Domińczyk, Bashir Salahuddin, and Gideon Adlo are set to help the plot unfold.

However, should we expect a little sprinkle of comedy?

Afterall it was produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.

We’ll have to wait and see!

According to the synopsis, the movie will focus on: “A talented young writer (Jenna Ortega) embarks on a creative odyssey when her teacher (Martin Freeman) assigns a project that entangles them both in an increasingly complex web. As lines blur and their lives intertwine, professor and protégé must confront their darkest selves while straining to preserve their individual sense of purpose and the things they hold most dear.”

Oh, that sounds like my sort of film.

Even though Ortega is set to shine in this different type of project, the news of her role in this production comes only weeks after she was confirmed leaving the Scream franchise due to scheduling conflicts.

With another season of Wednesday coming to Netflix, there’s definitely a lot for the actress to be focusing on.

But that’s not the only controversy surrounding the spooky film series as the production company behind the Scream films, Spyglass Media Group fired actress Melissa Barrera for her support of Palestine on social media.

Though, Ortega leaving the project isn’t linked to her co-star being fired as Variety reported that her departure was ‘apparently not influenced’ by Barrera.

However, there have been rumours spinning a tale which contradicts statements made by outlets.

As Ortega has been very active about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza on her Instagram account, many believe that there is something going on behind the scenes and that her departure is eerily timed with Barrera’s.

I guess we’ll never know, though, I’m seriously looking forward to her role in this new film.
