New live-action How To Train Your Dragon trailer reveals first look at iconic scene from original movie

The new How To Train Your Dragon movie hits cinemas later this year

The live-action remake of How To Train Your Dragon has had another action-packed trailer released.

The original, animated version of the DreamWorks favorite hit theaters in 2010, with a sequel following suit four years later.

Now it's getting a live-action remake, which will debut later this year.

Gerard Butler is reprising his role of Stoick (whom he voiced in the animated movies), while Mason Thames is taking on the lead role of Hiccup.

Elsewhere, Deadpool 2 star Julian Dennison will star as Fishlegs, with Nico Parker, Thandiwe Newton's daughter, playing Astrid.

After much anticipation, Universal Pictures released the movie's first official trailer back in November, and have since released another.

People have already shared their thoughts on the upcoming film, which hits theaters June 13, 2025.

"This actually looks pretty good," someone penned on Twitter.

"Oh, that’s gonna be a good movie. I can’t wait to see it," said another.

A third How To Train Your Dragon fan wrote: "I've been saying this since it was announced, a masterpiece is coming."

How To Train Your Dragon isn't the only highly anticipated live-action remake for 2025; Disney's Lilo & Stitch is also getting one.

The original movie was released back in 2002, and over 20 years later it's getting well-deserved remake.

The new Lilo & Stitch will be released before How To Train Your Dragon, and will be available to watch from May 23, 2025, onwards.

Sounds like a good year for live-action remakes, if you ask me!
