Bam Margera Confirmed To Appear In Jackass Forever

Bam Margera will appear in Jackass Forever after all, despite being ‘removed’ from the film and filing a lawsuit against Johnny Knoxville and others.
The upcoming sequel, helmed by the franchise’s longtime director, Jeff Tremaine, sees the return of Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Wee Man, Danger Ehren and Preston Lacy, as well as the introduction of newcomers like Jasper, Rachel Wolfson, Sean ‘Poopies’ McInerney, Zach Holmes and Eric Manak.
When the movie kicked off production, Margera’s involvement was never in doubt. However, he left the project early into shooting after allegedly testing positive for Adderall, in breach of his ‘wellness agreement’.

Margera has accused Knoxville, Tremaine, Spike Jonze, Paramount Pictures and other parties associated with the film of ‘psychological torture’ and violating his civil rights with ‘countless breathalyzer and urinalysis tests’, believing he was ‘wrongfully terminated’. The lawsuit was given the go-ahead in December.
In a number of concerning social media posts last year, Margera also alleged his ideas for the film were being used even after he’d been cut from the cast. ‘They steal all my ideas and they twist them around. Let’s jump on a f*cking treadmill and get pushed into a garage door… then they claim it was their own ideas… f*ck ’em all,’ he earlier said.
Ahead of Jackass Forever‘s release next month, Knoxville sat down with Variety, discussing its stunts, the cast’s hardships over the past 10 years and Margera’s absence from most of the movie. As per the outlet, he’s listed 45th out of 49 performers in the end credits, set to appear in just one stunt.
‘We wanted him all throughout the movie, but unfortunately that’s not the way it worked out. It’s really heartbreaking. I love Bam. We all love Bam. He’s our brother, you know? You just hope that he takes it upon himself to get the help that he needs, because we all care about him a lot,’ Knoxville said.
Answering whether he was surprised by Margera’s lawsuit, he added, ‘Yes and no. Because he’s in such a way that anything’s possible. So, something will break your heart – but it might not shock you.’
In June last year, Tremaine won a temporary restraining order against Margera, amid rising tensions between the pair. Steve-O also recently revealed that Margera is in a programme and under a ‘guardianship… I wish that we could have the Bam back who I was always so jealous of. I would love to be jealous of him again, and I want that for him’.
Jackass Forever will hit cinemas on February 4.
