People can't tell if woman is 'brave or crazy' after she confronted bear that got in her car

"That was a pretty bold response"

People have been left shocked after footage emerged of a bear that opened a car door and decided to sit in the driver's seat.

More so, a woman then goes over to the car to tell the bear to leave, like it was a small pet cat or dog. Watch her 'bold' reaction here:

The viral clip was shared on the Whatcouldgowrong (WGCW) subreddit by user u/Souled_Out.

The footage starts with the camera rolling from a passing car and the bear is seen contemplating whether to go into the parked car.

Cleverly, the bear then opens the car door and takes a seat.

The bear got into the unlocked car.

This is when the woman rushed out of the car shouting at the bear, "No, nooo, out, out, out."

The woman is very defiant as she continues to shout at the bear telling it to get out, as her friend nervously calls her name in the background.

"It's fine, it's fine," the woman yells at her petrified friend as the bear hops out and makes a run for it.

It really is impressive footage, but viewers can't tell if the woman is barking mad or if her actions were a true sign of bravery.

One viewer said: "That was a pretty bold response."

Another said: "That girl was crazy just running up to a bear and scolding it like a dog lol. I guess she's done this more than once to be this comfortable doing it."

A third added: "That’s a black bear. They are wimps. If it was a dangerous bear like brown or grizzly it probably wouldn’t even fit in the truck."

Meanwhile, another viewer claimed that bears getting in cars isn't a rare sight, saying: "This has actually become a problem in some parks in Canada. People feed the bears and it seems the bears were smart enough to learn how we were opening our doors. So they have been known to approach people for food and even go looking in vehicles."

People have been reacting to the woman's decision to confront the bear.

Another viewer agreed: "There was some national park in America that this was becoming an issue, bears were breaking into the park's dumpsters. And the park staff were having a lot of issues locking the bears out, because of significant overlap between the smartest bears and the dumbest people.

They couldn't make a lock good enough to keep out bears that didn't also keep out very dumb humans."

Meanwhile, another commenter said: "Why in the hell would you approach a bear!? Let him have the damn chips it's not worth it!

A very chill bear all things considered, he's like "Aw shucks... I've been caught... "

However, no matter what people's thoughts are, it was good to see that no one was hurt in what could have been a dangerous situation.
