A woman has claimed she's 'very single' because men are 'terrified' that she's pretty and smart.

Ashley, who goes by @ashbabank on TikTok, admitted in a now viral video that people are often left surprised to learn that she doesn't have a boyfriend.

On top of that, the TikToker said zero men are romantically pursuing her and hinted that she has not been intimate with someone for eight months.

Given she is also a fashion stylist, Ashley claims that many folks are left surprised by her current relationship status.

Despite being 'so pretty', she feels her looks have actually damaged her chances at finding love.

"You’ve got a very terrifying woman on your hands … a very not easy woman," Ashley explained while referring to her success and natural beauty.

The TikToker added: "Men don’t like me. Men are very, very terrified of me."

While Ashley says that some men do like her, she dubbed them as either unavailable or 'ugo [ugly] weirdos'.

She added: "Because at the end of the day, I’m merely just a fantasy. I am not a real human because of the pretty and scary.

"So yes, I’m alone. I’m very, very, very, very single."

Ashley explained her situation further in a caption for the video as she penned: "Lonely life when you know your worth."

Many have flocked to the comments section of the TikTok to share their thoughts.

"Convinced singles are the enlightened ones. We are the main characters living life on our own terms," one user commented.

A second added: "Same… been told I'm intimidating my whole life. Men don't even approach me cause they think I have too many options."

While a third summed up: "Yup. They idealize you, then at the end resent and hate you for everything they loved and adored about you at the beginning because you bring out all their insecurities. Still single, but happy."

Another wrote: "You said this perfectly."

The comment section certainly sees a lot to folks realizing they are hearing an all too familiar story.

"YUP terrified. So many guys tell me they are intimidated by me," another person put, while one user quipped: "Me core. Once they find out I'm a real human with feelings… it’s all over."

And someone else simply penned: "Facts."
