Tommy Lee gained over 100,000 Instagram followers on the same day he posted his d**k pic

In a story that reeks of double standards, Tommy Lee gained 100,000 new followers after posting a dick pick on social media.

By now, we're sure you've heard about Tommy posting a full-on d**k pic on Instagram. And despite the Mötley Crüe drummer's post clearly violating community guidelines, it stayed up (on the platform) for so long that people started to complain.

Tommy shared the photos last Thursday (11 August) which showed him in what looked like a bathtub, with the top half of his face in the corner and his manhood out on display for the world to see.

And it has now emerged that on the same day, he gained 101,000 more followers, according to Social Blade.

While Tommy's post was eventually deleted, people questioned the platform for not removing it immediately.

Under Instagram's community guidelines, nudity is prohibited but is acceptable in paintings and sculptures.

This caused many to call out the platform for double standards, particularly drawing attention to Britney Spears' most recent, partial nudes that had people calling her all the names under the sun.

One user wrote: "Yeah funny how Tommy Lee has his whole schlong out on social media & women (& men) are thristing & not bringing up his children at all but when Britney shares nudes w/ emojis censoring certain areas, she's torn to shreds."

Another referenced Tommy's caption on his now infamous snap: "'Ooooopppsss', Mötley Crüe's Tommy Lee vintage junk shop photo vs #BritneySpears arty emoji selfies? Double standard? Oops, he can do it again, but not her?"

A third added: "People losing their minds about #BritneySpears & her nudes on Instagram! Yet when #tommylee posts a pic everyone LOVES IT THINKS IT HILARIOUS .. #doublestandards MUCH."

One even said that Britney was being 'mom shamed' for simply expressing herself: "2022 and we have to witness Tommy Lee being praised for posting a frontal nude while Britney Spears is constantly momshamed for posting sexy pics ffs."

While another added: "Anyways… it’s so funny how Britney Spears constantly gets dragged for her Instagram photos, but as soon as Tommy Lee posts a full-frontal photo on Instagram it’s praise everywhere. ANNOYING and misogynistic.

And they've got a point, we're not quite sure why Tommy gained 101,000 followers but Britney's shamed every time she posts...
