Joe Rogan's podcast gets a lot of listeners on platforms such as Spotify - and the exact numbers have now been revealed.
Spotify has released audience figures after a redesign that features a TikTok style layout with podcast episode previews, which once clicked, reveal podcast audience figures.
It's been widely accepted that Rogan's The Joe Rogan Experience podcast must have a huge audience but now it's clear he 'overshadows' others and in fact has three times more listeners than the next most popular podcast which is TED Talks Daily.

The news has been shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) as one account posted: "It's a generally accepted truth that Joe Rogan's podcast is the biggest on Earth (!) But how massive is his audience? Last month, Spotify quietly started testing a feature that discloses how many followers podcasts on the platform have. His show is almost 3X bigger than the next most popular."
Fans have been shocked at the sheer volume of listeners, as Rogan reaches over 14.5 million. One fan posted on social media: "almost 10 million more followers than any other podcast. no one does it like Joe Rogan."
Another added: "Very well deserved, he’s such a sick host and the guests he brings on are very interesting to listen to."
"Gets more popular by the second," shared a third.

The news comes after six months ago Rogan appeared to slip in popularity as he was knocked off the podcast top spot by TikTok influencer Alix Earle.
In September 2023, The Joe Rogan Experience was sitting at number three in the platform's charts, with Diary of a CEO taking the number two slot. Hot Mess by Earle sat in top position, but this isn't the first time that Rogan has been dethroned and he often regains the top spot again. In October 2022, Kim Kardashian’s true crime podcast swiftly surpassed The Joe Rogan Experience within days of its release.
In May last year, Warner Bros. Studios and Spotify Studios: Batman Unburied released the first podcast from a licensing deal between the platform and production company to expand the DC universe.

This also led to Rogan being swiftly knocked off once again after he reigned supreme in 2021, when his podcast was number one in the US and worldwide.
However, Rogan's show has been met with significant controversy over the years, particularly in light of his conversations and comments around COVID-19 and vaccines.
His comments incited a group of 270 doctors, scientists and medical professionals who wrote to Spotify expressing concerns over Rogan's podcast, as they told the platform: "This is not only a scientific or medical concern; it is a sociological issue of devastating proportions and Spotify is responsible for allowing this activity to thrive on its platform."
