Lily Allen has revealed how she's gone through a rollercoaster of emotions, along with a hit on her finances, following her high-profile split from Stranger Things star David Harbour.
The singer, who called time on her marriage at the end of 2024, disclosed to her fans what led her to get a boob job just weeks after leaving a trauma centre.
The 40-year-old first mentioned the surgery on her podcast Miss Me?, saying it was a little 'glow up' for herself, but in a recent interview with The Observer, Allen explained the real reason.
"Because I've always been really small up top, I was worried about becoming really bottom-heavy. And so I felt like..." she said.

Before continuing: "This is how I talk to myself! I felt like if I got boobs, it would make me feel better about gaining weight. So that was my reasoning."
The procedure came right after a two-week stay in a Nashville, Tennessee, trauma centre, which she described as both 'f***ing excruciatingly painful' and 'really helpful'.

She also visited Kris Jenner’s plastic surgeon in Manhattan to reconnect with her 'authentic self'. However, she admits she doesn’t remember much of the period, and was given the pain relief Percocet - which is given to address 'moderately severe pains' - despite being sober.
Allen, who has two daughters from a previous relationship, described the divorce as 'devastating', leaving her sleepless, struggling to eat and also 'costing a huge amount of money'.
Her latest album West End Girl is born out of her experiences from her break-up with Harbour - who she alleges cheated on her.
It is the first album the star's released since 2017, and Allen's since been seen motoring around the UK - after returning to London following the split - in a $160,000 Porsche, while gripping a a $22,000 designer Hermes bag.

In one track, 'Madeline', it takes aim at the woman Allen believes had an affair with Harbour. She also explains in the song that she and her husband had an open marriage.
One verse reads: "We had an arrangement / Be discreet and don't be blatant / There had to be payment / It had to be with strangers / But you're not a stranger, Madeline."
Allen says the name is a pseudonym, while costume designer Natalie Tippett has denied any long-term affair, calling the claims 'false' and saying she felt 'extremely violated'.
Setting the record straight, she wrote in part on her Instagram Story: "I did not have a three year affair with anyone. I'm unsure why this person wants so badly to pit people against me or create this narrative that we both know is false based on the actual messages that I have saved between us. The same ones that have now been referenced in a song without my consent."
