Kevin Hart has been praised online for his response to a surprising question about his children in a new interview.
Hart was asked a question that came as quite the shock during his sit-down interview with fellow comedian Ziwe in an episode of her web series.
The video, which was shared on YouTube on Monday (November 24) saw the pair talk about a whole host of topics, but it is the mention of the LGBTQ+ community that has got people talking.
In some circles online, an odd question has started to go viral: Would you prefer having a gay son or a th*t daughter. For those unaware, th*t is a derogatory term used to describe a very promiscuous woman.

Hart had a very clear answer to give when he was asked by Ziwe his take on it.

Hart said: “I would rather have two healthy kids, two healthy children. The fact that you have to like put them in those categories, says a lot about who you are.
“I’m just telling you, I think the real problem is in the thinker, not the answerer, the thinker, maybe you should just ponder on that for a second.

After an objection to Hart turning the point on her, she replied: "Which do you give less of a f**k about? Gay rights or women’s rights?"
Hart hit back: "Well, first and foremost rights are rights and you should care about them all. Everybody has a voice and everyone deserves to be heard.
"What I want to do is be a part of the change that the world desperately deserves and hopefully get us to a point where we are all on the same accord."
Now, it is important to note that the interview was far from serious, with both comedians chucking out a bunch of jokes and playing into the faux-seriousness of the interview scenario.
Ziwe even followed up by telling the audience that they should take a shot of alcohol every time Hart says the word ‘change’.

Regardless of this comedic nature of the interview, Hart has been praised online for his response, especially due to previous controversies surrounding homophobia.
One X user wrote: "Beautifully said...Imagine bringing a child into this world who also has a journey into their life and you want to control that?...."
Another said: “This is exactly how it should be. Healthy children, no labels, no judgment. The question was wild.”
With a third commenting: “Perfect answer. Health and love > labels.”

While another wrote “F**k man, that's Kevin for you. I knew he was this great man.”
