Holland Taylor, 82, gives rare insight to age gap romance with Sarah Paulson, 50, in Walk of Fame speech

Holland Taylor has lifted the lid on her relationship with Sarah Paulson some ten years after the pair started dating.

Yep, it was back in 2015 when the 82-year-old and the 50-year-old started dating and the pair have spoke occasionally about their relationship since then.

Last year, the American Horror Story favorite revealed the so-called 'secret' to their relationship on the SmartLess podcast, and Taylor has now spoken further after her partner received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this week.

During a speech at the event in Los Angeles, the 82-year-old said: "Sarah, the actress, is first of all a wild creature in the animal kingdom. Warm blooded, instinctive, mysterious. And Sarah is dangerous — trust me in this — not dangerous like a snake, more like a mongoose.

"You know, those darling furry, little creatures that kill snakes."

Taylor added: "Nothing interferes with her laser perception of her character’s traits, its habitat, vulnerabilities, its heroism, its ugliness, terrible truths, its comic pathos. She zeros in to a story’s central struggle, where most of us aren’t even aware of our own."

Taylor went on to describe her partner as the 'adventure you always wanted your life to be', before going on to praise Paulson's acting.

"Her acting is as honest as a vow of faith and as complicated as chemistry," she continued. "She's not deceiving us—she is practicing magic, a hat trick in flesh and blood."

L-Word actress Taylor went on to applaud her other-half's 'commitment to truth' as a performer in what was a truly idolising speech in Hollywood.

While offering an insight into her relationship with Paulson, Taylor also touched on broader family life and how the recent Hollywood Walk of Fame member manages her 'many deep, long friendships, and her love for her extended family'.

Describing her other half as 'dedicated and giving', Taylor concluded her speech with: "Sometimes it’s hard to believe she’s an actress. She breaks the mould, throws assumptions out the window, does it her way. She will always surprise us. Hollywood does well to honour her.

"And just in case she doesn’t know it, she has a permanent shining star on my street. I love you, darling."
