Emma Heming Willis has shared a sweet throwback video of husband Bruce Willis to mark 35 years since the release of the iconic action flick Die Hard.

The video montage shows Bruce, 68, visiting the Fox studio lot with Emma and their children Mable, 11, and eight-year-old Evelyn.

The footage, shot in 2018, shows Bruce looking through the Die Hard archives and visiting a mural to the movie, as well as happily posing for snaps with his loved ones.

Sharing the clip, Emma wrote: “Back in 2018 (when these videos and pictures were taken) we took Mabel and Evelyn to the Fox lot to peek at the archives as well as see the larger-than-life mural of their dad.

“This mural was unveiled in front of Bruce back in 2013 to commemorate Die Hard’s 25th anniversary.

“Today marks Die Hard’s 35th anniversary when it hit the screens and the rest is history.

What Bruce has been able to accomplish in his career will never be lost on us. We are so proud of him.”

The post has since been flooded with responses from fans who were quick to heap praise on the actor.

One person wrote: “Thank you Bruce for entertaining us for all these years! Wishing you the best!”

Another said: "The GOAT! in my opinion the best action star to ever do it. Thank you Bruce! God bless and I truly pray for you and your family.”

A third wrote: “I'm proud I shared the planet at the same time as the legendary Bruce Willis! What a body of work! Peace and blessings.”

Earlier this year, the star publicly disclosed that he had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia.

Emma, ex-wife Demi Moore, and his five daughters posted the following statement on The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration's website: "Our family wanted to start by expressing our deepest gratitude for the incredible outpouring of love, support and wonderful stories we have all received since sharing Bruce’s original diagnosis.

In the clips Bruce was seen walking around the Fox lot with his family.

"In the spirit of that, we wanted to give you an update about our beloved husband, father and friend since we now have a deeper understanding of what he is experiencing.

"Since we announced Bruce’s diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022, Bruce’s condition has progressed and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD).

"Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces. While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis.

"FTD is a cruel disease that many of us have never heard of and can strike anyone. For people under 60, FTD is the most common form of dementia, and because getting the diagnosis can take years, FTD is likely much more prevalent than we know."
