Jenna Dewan claims ex Channing Tatum is trying to 'conceal' Magic Mike millions from her

Dewan claims Tatum 'created a complex web of LLCs, holding companies, and partnerships' to keep the money from her

Jenna Dewan is claiming that ex-husband Channing Tatum 'concealed' details about his earnings from the Magic Mike franchise.

At a court hearing on Friday (April 12) Dewan's representative Samantha Spector said that while Dewan had received 'some' funds, child support and other assets could not be divided until the questions over the earnings from Magic Mike could be determined.

Dewan's reps claim she should get a portion of the earnings as the pair were married when the franchise was born.

"The Magic Mike intellectual property and all the proceeds thereon is the elephant in the room," said Spector at the hearing.

"We have, for the last couple of years, been trying to meaningfully resolve this case, but every time we do, we get stuck on that issue with Magic Mike.

"We are dealing with a potential billion-dollar asset."

Tatum first starred in the Magic Mike movie back in 2012, under the director Steven Soderbergh.

The pair co-financed the movie, which earned approximately $167 million.

Since then there has been two other movies, as well as a show and a tour.

According to People, Dewan alleges that Tatum 'created a complex web of LLCs, holding companies, and partnerships' to 'dilute and conceal the value of, and licensing income therefrom, the community property share of Magic Mike intellectual property'.

Meanwhile, Tatum disputes this and says he 'never denied Petitioner of her share of the community assets or income'.

Tatum's lawyers say that despite the franchise being started during their marriage, the actor 'continued to create and develop [it] since separation' and 'expended extensive efforts since separation towards the enhancement of the Magic Mike intellectual property and related entities, which [Tatum] contends give rise to his separate property interest therein'.

Dewan and Tatum married in 2009 and began their separation in 2018.

They share a daughter, Everly, who is now 10.

The pair have both gone on to have other relationships, with Tatum now engaged to actor Zoë Kravitz.

It's believed the two met during the casting process of Kravitz's movie Blink Twice, which was previously called Pussy Island.

Speaking to Deadline back in 2021, Kravitz - who directed the movie - said: "Chan was my first choice, the one I thought of when I wrote this character.

"I just knew from Magic Mike and his live shows, I got the sense he’s a true feminist and I wanted to collaborate with someone who was clearly interested in exploring this subject matter."

Elsewhere, in 2022, Kravitz gushed about Tatum in an interview with GQ, hailing the 43-year-old as a 'wonderful human'.

"He makes me laugh and we both really love art and talking about art and the exploration of why we do what we do," she told the publication last year.

"We love to watch a film and break it down and talk about it and challenge each other."

Meanwhile, Dewan is engaged to Steve Kazee.

The pair have a four-year-old son, Callum, and Dewan is currently pregnant with their second child.
