A friend of Billie Eilish accidentally revealed a super-intimate tattoo that the singer swore the world would never see.
The ‘Bad Guy’ singer has five known tattoos - though she’s hinted that there are a few more we haven’t seen.
"The only tattoos I wanna get are the ones that barely anyone can see," she told Vanity Fair, in 2017.
When she turned 18, she went and got her first tattoo the day after sweeping up at the Grammy's in 2020 - winning a total of five: Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist, and Best Pop Vocal Album.

She made history by sweeping the four main categories, becoming the first female artist to do so - and the second person overall to do so, and of course visiting the tattoo parlour was her way of celebrating.
“I did get a tattoo, but you won't ever see it,” she told the publication at the time.

Since then, the star’s tattoo collection has grown.

In 2021, she revealed she’d added two more pieces - including fairies on the side of her hand inspired by her childhood book Fairyopolis.
"They're like my little guardian angel fairies," she explained.
She also got what she called a 'big boy' tattoo - a dragon stretched across her waist, which she eventually showed off on Instagram.

But it’s that very first tattoo - the one she promised to keep hidden - that has captured fans' curiosity for years.
They managed to get a glimpse of the artwork thanks to a snap shared by Eilish's friend Annabel Zimmer, the daughter of film composer Hans Zimmer.
Annabel posted the picture as she enjoyed some nice weather with Eilish, who was seen in the photo smiling and tilting her head towards the sun.

She had sunglasses on and her hair pulled back, with the tattoo just visible below the string of her bikini.
You can kind of see it here:

While there are certainly clearer photos on the internet, fans of the singer accepted this was the best they were going to get.
Rolling Stone has also previously reported that the tattoo is drawn in an 'ornate, gothic font'.
It's just about possible to make out the pointed letters of her name written in black across her skin.
In October 2023, she debuted her latest ink, which is an abstract design that goes down the center of her back.
