13 Going on 30 fans are flooding to social media in awe over Mark Ruffalo and Jennifer Garner recreating the iconic dance nearly 20 years on.

Yesterday (Thursday, 8 February), Ruffalo received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and who should join the Poor Things actor up on the podium but his former 13 Going on 30 co-star Jennifer Garner.

And the pair's greeting of one another and recreation of the iconic dance from their movie has sent fans into a frenzy. You can see their moves here:

For those of you who've not rewatched 13 Going on 30 since it came out nearly 20 years ago - first of all, shame on you - but secondly, here's a recap for you.

Garner stars as Jenna Rink and Ruffalo as Matt Flamhaff in a film which is - and will always be - absolutely iconic.

Unable to find a boyfriend and the subject of nasty bullying at her own birthday party, teenager Rink hides in a cupboard and wishes she could transport to the part of her life where she's an adult with her s**t together.

With the help of some magical glitter, Rink is transported from 13 years old to 30, however, it soon becomes apparent life doesn't get much less complicated the older you get - if anything, it gets more so.

The film came out in 2004 - feel old yet?

Rink's best friend and next door neighbor Flamhaff has always been secretly in love with her, but 17 years on, the pair have lost touch.

Fortunately, they end up reconnecting as Rink tries to make sense of what's happened to her and what she truly wants in life, one celebratory moment of the pair becoming true friends again in their adult forms, seeing them take to the dancefloor to perform their childhood dance routine to Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' - Rink trying to liven the party up and Flamhaff coming to her rescue so she doesn't have to vibe solo.

And what better way to celebrate Ruffalo's star than with their iconic dance? Catch the nostalgic moment here:

After Ruffalo's accolades were read out, a presenter came up to introduce the next speaker.

He read some of Garner's accolades, including 13 Going on 30, which received raucous applause and a series of cheers from the audience.

The Daredevil star climbed the stage to give her 'good friend' a hug, and Ruffalo then took the opportunity to give a quick wave of the arms acting out the start of the Thriller dance routine from the pair's infamous rom-com.

Garner quickly joined in and it was as if the pair filmed the movie yesterday - not nearly 20 years ago - fans quickly jumping to social media in adoration of the moment.

There's nothing else to say apart from ICONIC.
