The stars are back in action in the trailer for the upcoming action movie, though it quickly becomes clear that their characters aren't quite as agile as they used to be.

With Lawrence's character in need of a soothing ginger ale just seconds into a ride in a fast car, it's clear their new mission will be a bit of a rollercoaster.
Still, Smith's Mike Lowrey is at least as cool as ever, casually scolding his partner Marcus Burnett for buying Skittles while simultaneously dealing with an armed robbery in process.
The trailer offers just a glimpse of the action and comedy we're set to get in the film when it arrives this summer, with the release date currently set for June 7.

Almost 30 years after Lawrence and Smith first teamed up in 1995, Bad Boys: Ride or Die promises to bring back 'the world's favourite Bad Boys', not only with the fast-paced action and quick quips we're so used to seeing from the franchise, but also with a new twist: Miami's finest are now on the run.
The stars spoke about their excitement for the movie at CinemaCon last year, where they appeared virtually as they remained on the set of Bad Boys to film.
"We’re hype, we’re excited,” Smith said of the new instalment.
Lawrence added that the pair were 'sorry' they couldn't be there in person, to which Smith joked: “We glad we not there because we here and they’re paying us to be here.”

While the first two films in the Bad Boys series were directed by Michael Bay, the upcoming fourth instalment will see the return of Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who directed the most recent sequel, Bad Boys for Life.
Lawrence and Smith will be joined in Bad Boys: Ride or Die by co-stars Alexander Ludwig, Vanessa Hudgens, Eric Dane, Paola Núñez, Rhea Seehorn, Tasha Smith and Ioan Gruffudd.
In 2020, Lawrence spoke about the time that has passed between the first two Bad Boys movies and the characters' comebacks in 2020.

"When we did the first two Bad Boys, we were young, we could run fast, we could jump higher," he told Entertainment Weekly. "On Bad Boys for Life, we just rely on the stuntmen a lot more."
Stuntmen or not, it will be great to see the characters in action once again!
