Did you know that Kate Hudson was in Home Alone 2?
The actress recently reminded us that she had a 'really small part' in the iconic Christmas flick, and shared that she still receives residuals to this day.
The star appeared on the Sibling Rivalry podcast earlier this week where she revealed that she still gets checks from appearing in the 1992 flick, as well as discussing her new music career.

Hudson has recently slowed her acting career and decided to kickstart her music career, dropping her new single 'Talk About Love'' on 30 January after co-writing it with her fiancee, Danny Fujikawa.
She said, “You only have one first single and I wanted it to be something delicious and sexy and all the things that I believe in. I wanted it to be open and seeking, searching to find something powerful."
But prior to moving towards music, Hudson found international fame with the movies Almost Famous, Fools Gold and Bride Wars.

And when she was just 12 years old, Hudson starred in the movie Home Alone 2.
She appeared as part of the children’s choir in the opening act of Chris Columbus’s 1992 Christmas classic, which saw Macaulay Culkin reprise his role as Kevin McCallister.
The 'How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days' actress told hosts:" “I still get residuals from Home Alone 2 because I sang in the chorus. I’m in that chorus, and then I get 10 cents every once in a while.”
Other podcast guest, Joey Lawrence, who starred in Blossom and Melissa & Joey, related all too well to the anecdote, sharing his revenue checks from the series, saying: "Sometimes I’ll get, like, 2 cents and I’m like, ‘Wait. Doesn’t the envelope and paper cost more?’”

Kate replied: “At least they’re being fair and honest.”
It's quite a jump from how much her residuals are in comparison to how much the actress has accumulated from her multiple hit films, making her net worth a cool $80 Million.
Hudson is the daughter of Hollywood royalty, Goldie Hawn, but says she's anything but the 'nepo-baby' type, and that people 'resonate' with her, saying: “I’ve not led a very traditional life, you know?” she said. “Maybe that resonates? Women do come up to me and talk to me about their personal lives a lot. I think because I’ve always been really open and honest about everything. I could never be phoney about it. It’d be exhausting.

"I don’t really care about the nepo-baby thing, I look at my kids and we’re a storytelling family. It’s definitely in our blood. People can call it whatever they want, but it’s not going to change it.”
